Common Name: Eastern Towhee (female)

Scientific Name: Pipilo erythrophthalmus

Comments: Towhees are common birds in Sharon, especially along edges between woods and open fields, but they are heard more than seen. The male’s song sounds like he’s singing, “Drink your tea.”
