2006 Sharon Plant and Wildlife Photo Contest

"Butterfly" by Will SweetThe winners of the 2006 Wildlife Photo contest were selected at a judging in mid-January and announced at the Sharon Friends of Conservation Potluck Supper on March 10. The contest runs year-long, giving photographers a chance of capturing species found in any season.

The contest is sponsored by Sharon Friends of Conservation and Sharon Fish and Game Club. Sharon Fish and Game Club generously provided prizes for this year’s and last year’s winners. The pictures will eventually make up an album as well as being displayed in the Conservation Commission office. Interestingly, the judging panel is composed of adults and young people, making for a good balance of opinions.
