Did You Know?

With its strong, hooked claws, gray foxes can climb trees to escape other predators and access birds eggs. They are omnivorous, and help keep rodent populations in check. Gray foxes are crepuscular (active at dawn and dusk). They are a different, more ancient genus from red foxes, which are more common than gray foxes in our area. Wikipedia

Comments: I saw a small, gray-colored fox with a huge bushy tail at dusk (no photo opportunity).
